All our motorized bicycle engine kits comes with everything but the gas and oil. Convert your men's 24" - 26" bicycle to a 20-40 MPH and 100-150 Miles per gallon machine. 2 Stroke Motors require oil mixed in with the gas. 16 to 1 (8oz per Gallon) when motor is new and 32 to 1 (4oz per Gallon) after break in period (about 1 or 2 tanks).

You can still pedal bike like normal with clutch lever held in or locked in with button. To start a 2 Stroke Bicycle Motor just hold in the clutch and pedal to get some speed then release the clutch to "Bump Start" the motor and off you go. To come to a stop once engine is running you can hold in clutch and engine will idle. Push Kill Switch on throttle to kill motor, clutch must be held in when bike is in motion or motor will keep running.

Engine kit will add about 24 lbs to your bike. Fits most standard V frame Men's 24" and bigger, we suggest 26". Engine kit is about 8.5" height 7" length 5" width. Kit fits on standard 25mm - 29mm frame tube. Larger frame size requires drilling into bike frame and use the universal motor mount..

my kit came today and I am very satisfied. i got my kit today 5/21/14 and it came in a different box then the previous kits, better packaging i love it!, the last box was smaller and everything in one so the kit and parts rubbed and bumped each other causing scratches and dents to the tank. but the new box is shorter, wider and everything is in separate boxes in the one bigger box! engine in its own box, tank bubble wrapped and boxed so no scratches!
being an experienced motor bicycle mechanic it took me about 1.5 hours from unboxing to test ride.

I would like to say that by far this has been consistantly the best online Motorized Bicycle site.  Whenever I have called I get clear and concise answers to all my questions and when they tell you they will ship it today, thats exactly what you get.  I have ordered numerous parts from other sites and Piston Bikes delivers AND delivers on time.  Thanks fellas, you have won my business.  Now I need to review the Jet motors they speak highly about.  I have had great success with the Mega Motors, so I am a little skeptical about switching but they haven't steered me wrong yet.  I now build these bikes as a second income, guess those other sites didn't care about my return business.

It came really fast like as in 4 days fast I had a blast putting it together and it is just a fun new toy that I can get to work on it literally cuts my comut in 1/2 and it is so fun to ride nosy but it doesn't madder. Piston bikes thank you for this grate new project.

If your bike has the larger front tube then this is the engine kit you want to buy. Also notice that this engine kit comes with a much larger chain / sprocket - this is important if you upgrade later to the bolt on hub or direct drive.

This kit also comes with the NT carberator which is much easier to dial in then the CNS carb.

I use this kit on the Cranbrooks and it fits very nice, no worries. I do upgrade the sprocket bolts, idler bolts and front mounting bolts. Look for grade 8!
