Broke a stud in your motor? No problem, just repair it. The Perma-Coil thread repair kit is here to the rescue. Just drill out the threads with specified size (not included), the use thread insert tool and install new threads that are stronger then before.

Perma-Coil metric repair kit 6mm x 1.0 - Most 2 stroke Chinese motors use this size for: Front Motor Mounts, Rear Motor Mounts, Intake Studs, Exhaust Studs and some Cylinder studs ( Cylinder head studs are either 6mm x 1.0  or  8mm x 1.0  or  8mm x 1.25).

Perma-Coil helically coiled inserts are made from 304 (18-8) stainless steel that has been rolled to a carefully controlled diamond shape thread form. Designed to be slightly oversized in diameter, when installed into a STI (Screw Thread Insert) tapped hole, the insert expands outward with a spring-like action that securely grips the wall of the parent material providing a much stronger, permanent thread.

Perma-Coil inserts and repair kits are designed to repair stripped threads in a variety of metals including aluminum, aluminum alloys, magnesium, cast iron and bronze.
