Held on to rear wheel with mounting hardware (included), this motor driven sprocket is available in many sizes. Also called the rag joint, it bolts to the spokes. Its the same set-up that comes stock in most kits.

Rule of thumb is less teeth more top speed, More teeth more torque. When you gain one you lose another. For example you want to run a 32 tooth sprocket, You will get up to a faster top speed at full throttle but it will take awhile to get there. Hey, you can always pedal to get the RPMs up. Or if you want to climb hills you would go up in size to a 50 or 56. Remember you will have to adjust chain length accordingly (add or remove links).
