This item would not fit my bike, I had to modify it by cutting off at the bend, turned it upside down, and fit it with 3/4 inch hvac parts which happen to be close enough in size. Sauter will not work on fuel intake though, so you'll need a 3/4 inch heater hose of the same length to seal it. I made a 90 degree and slightly upward turn over the clutch arm and it works great.
