Does this clamp fit 9 bolt hole original kit sprockets? in other words if one wanted could he or she use a original standard 9 bolt pattern sprocket just using 3 bolts instead. guess what i'm asking is simple are the patterns the same minus 6 holes?
Sorry that you didn't understand "joseph ludvigson" but my point was there are many other kit makers using 9 hole sprocket bolt patterns(and different size sprocket teeth i.e different chains). so as said above would a 9 hole pattern sprocket (say the original rag joint 44 tooth or thatsdax.com 72 tooth 8mm chain sprocket clamp) sprocket fit this clamp only using 3 of the holes. Honestly it's a easily answered question for those of you who have bought this and still have a rag joint sprocket. By the way nice try with the sarcasm but you should practice using it when it is funny not when it just makes you look like a retard who can't understand a question titled QUESTION.

I just move this from a coaster hub to a 7 speed hub. There was a difference in size, so all I did was make some shims out of some U clips and BAM!! Good to go! I'm not sure about the other Guy, but I know that before I but something that is 60$ I read everything there is to read on the thing I'm buying, and not to sure how small the screen is that Guy is useing, but it not really that fine of print to me, and I order everything off my phone! Lol.. anyways I love the product and would tell everyone how good it really is!! Makes my bike just that much better! Thanks!!

Wrong adapter

I did not see the small print that this hub adapter was only for coaster brake bikes. I have an XRims 7 speed shimano hub. Need to make it more obvious that this only fits coaster brake hubs. I am considering my options, another adapter or return. Any way I look at it, the lack of (readable) information on the web page has caused me to either lose my shipping ($20) or invest in a workaround. The three bolts in the photo were not with the hub when I got it and I had to go to the hardware to get them too. Bummer.

Does a great job of fixing all the short-comings of the standard rag joint. Now the gear runs perfectly true, and perfectly centered. Switching to the 40 from the 44 is good too. Overpriced, but it has made my bike much more dependable by relieving the drive forces on the spokes.
